FISA vote: you know, the state of Arkansas has an awful lot to answer for. Perhaps they should be kicked out of the Union for a year or something as punishment for inflicting these twerps on the country in addition to the Huckster. Democrats that betrayed the Constitution: Mark Pryor and Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania voted with the Democrats. I'll have to wait for the Roll Call to be posted in about an hour to see who all did not vote. I know McCain did not show up. Now there will be a cloture vote on a 30-day extension. This vote will be more suspenseful.

One of 6 Democrats to vote for Gonzales. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) One of only 17 Democrats in the entire CONGRESS to vote for the Teamwork Employees and Managers Act (vetoed by Clinton.) Of course supports CAFTA. Supports doubling the amount of H1-B Visas. Voted against the Dodd amendment to express support for American participation in an International Criminal Court. Killed the Farm Bill's Dorgan-Grssley Amendment, which would have limited the subsidies to wealthy farmers to 250,000 a year. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) Gang of 14. Good Old Let's Drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Mary. George Bush in a skirt. Seems to pass for Democrat, but why is a mystery. Previous election by incredibly narrow margin was hotly disputed. Probably because most of the real Democrats in Louisiana would not be able to tell the difference between her and her Republican opponent. For God's sake, can't we put a REAL Democrat in?
