He spent a lot of time talking strategy (4.00 / 1)

and not as much time on what might be termed a "stump speech," although there was some of that.

The next clip I have going up is particularly interesting.  He talks about Jim Folsom getting more votes than he ever had before in a statewide race and still losing to hapless Kay Ivey.  The reason?  Rural voters and race.

Very interesting discussion indeed.
