Isn't Shelby up for re-election next? (4.00 / 5)

When will he be running again and is there anyone who could credibly challenge him? Going over the ballot prior to the election I was terribly disappointed at all of the races where there was no Dem opposition to the repubs. I'm a firm believer in Howard Dean's strategy that there be a challenger in each and every race.

Romney can't win (4.00 / 3)

Right now, Romney hasabout as much chance of winning as someone buying one lottery ticket and hitting the jackpot.

+2 for the good guys in the Senate. (at this hour)

All in all a good day for Democrats. No 3-4 million dirty air jobs so it's a good day for the whole planet.

President Obama is relected and the Democrats gained 3 seats in the US Senate. I'm just worried about Alabamians decision to bring back Roy Moore. That is a nightmare.
