Democratic First Ladies don't visit Alabama very often, so think long and hard before you miss the chance to attend a reception with Michelle Obama on July 18th at the Sheraton Hotel in Birmingham. I'm told there was initially a block of $100 tickets, but those are long gone. The remaining tickets start at $200 per person.
Congresswoman Terri Sewell (D, AL-07) is a co-sponsor of the reception. Proceeds (which are not tax deductible) will benefit the Obama Victory Fund.
