Who Do Americans Trust To Cope With Alien Invasion? Barack Obama By A Landslide

How Obama deals with aliensFile this under Friday fun facts:

Nearly two-thirds of Americans (65%) think Barack Obama would be better suited than Mitt Romney to handle an alien invasion.

Which, when you think about it, is a pretty big vote of confidence in Obama's ability to find innovative solutions to big, unexpected problems. And you know, that's the core of the job description for president of the USA.

I wonder if Americans' confidence that Obama could successfully cope with aliens has something to do with his record of dealing with Congress the past four years.  He's always maintained a calm sense of purpose -- even when the partisan bickering must have rankled -- and through patience & persistence, has managed to get a remarkable amount of what he wanted.

And, given that any invading aliens are likely to be from a more advanced society, I'll wager coping with aliens would be a pleasant change from dealing with Congress.

Do you mean . . . (4.00 / 1)
. . . that HB 56 won't stop the aliens?

"Show me your papers" will not deter aliens (0.00 / 0)
HB56 won't work any better on space aliens than it does on undocumented immigrants.

Work harder and work smarter!

Compared to this Congress - especially the House (4.00 / 1)

Coping with aliens would be an improvement!  Even if they had flames shooting out of their eyes!

ROFL! (4.00 / 1)

Yes.

This has been your weekly edition of Simple Answers...

I'm glad you folx are back.

As for our last Democratic President's dealings with aliens (4.00 / 1)

The off-world kind, dammit! Try to keep up, please:

Seriously, President Obama has learned from his first term (4.00 / 1)

That he can't reliably communicate with people who do not want to communicate.

Aliens or not, they simply will not cooperate with a Black Man in the White House.

That sounds overly simplistic (0.00 / 0)
But it certainly seems to be the case.  Obama has time and again offered up Republican ideas, like the individual mandate, only to have then rejected -- by Republicans.

Work harder and work smarter!
