First they came for Democrats.

Then they came for ACORN.

Then they came for LBGT's.

Then they came for health care reform.

Then they came for health care reform supporters.

Hope will never be silent.

And neither will I.

Couldn't believe that Michael Steele quote (0.00 / 0)
Was he this clueless before he became RNC chair?

He apparently hasn't noticed that the Republicans who won Tuesday ran as centrists, did not invite Sarah Palin to campaign for them, and tried to distance themselves from right-wing policies and rhetoric.  In McDonnell's case, he had to distance himself from his own history.

But go ahead Michael.  Purge away!  We can always use more pro-choice, pro marriage equality Democrats.  If you kick them out of the GOP, our doors are open.

I'm not short.  I'm fun size!!

Party Swap Anyone? (4.00 / 1)
republicans can take all the anti choice, anti marriage equality, conservative democrats and democrats can take all the pro choice, pro marriage equality republicans.

Speaking of party swapping, there is a rumor(not to be confused with facts) going around on the intertubes that Wayne Parker Griffith wants to be indentified as a conservative, independent blue dog rather than a democrat because "the current Democratic agenda has 'the potential' to cost some of our frontline members their seats".  Huh?  I guess he's forgotten it was the current democratic agenda that got him elected in the first place.

The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dreams shall never die.~Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D. MA)

I thought of you, Redeye, when I saw this on Andrew Sullivan's blog.

A soldier surprises his daughter at school.  She thought he was still in Iraq.  He wasn't!
